Service Technician
Position Summary: To provide maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a service technician
- Must be proficient in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of HVAC units
- Technician must be able to complete approved repairs, improvements and maintenance within industry standards
- Able to perform maintenance, service and trouble shoot HVAC equipment
- Must be driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision
- The technician will be responsible for accurately troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
- Customer service skills required to communicate effectively with customers
- Clean equipment/work area and complete all paperwork required by management
- Maintain truck inventory, while keeping assigned service vehicle organized and clean
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret documents including but not limited to safety procedures and laws, operating instructions, dispatched work orders and overall ability to navigate computer software
- Must be reliable; work well independently and be self-motivated
- Possess excellent communication skills and an ability to work well with others
- Ability to Lift 75+ lbs. and carry/climb all types of ladders
- Be available for on-call shifts on a rotation basis
- Be available to work some night and weekends
- Must maintain an accurate inventory of truck stock
- Must maintain appropriate vehicle maintenance forms
- Hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Pass Drug Screening
